SUMMER ISSUE OF LAX CONNECTION E-NEWSLETTER NOW AVAILABLE
(L os Angeles, California – August 22, 2012) The summer issue of LAX Connection E-newsletter is now available online. The newsletter provides information to the public and the travel-tourism industry about Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) passenger services and air service developments.
The summer issue features news on the Central Terminal Area curbside improvements underway in front of the Tom Bradley International Terminal; a new section of the Los Angeles World Airports website with tips for getting to/from LAX during the upcoming closure of the I-405 San Diego Freeway Sept. 29–Oct. 1; TSA PreCheck program now available for United Airlines customers; Skewers by Chef Morimoto opening in Terminal 5 and Wolfgang Puck Express opening in Terminal 7 on Sept. 13; Southern California’s botanical life inspiring new in-terminal art exhibits; DFS Group being awarded a 10-year contract for duty-free concessions at LAX; Volaris now offering service to Culiacán, Mexico and beginning service to Uruapan, Mexico on Oct. 2; Space Shuttle Endeavor landing at LAX on Sept. 20; China Southern launching Airbus A380 service on its Guangzhou-LAX route on Oct. 12; WestJet introducing seasonal service to Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada on Nov. 3 and United Airlines beginning on Dec. 19.
