DELAWARE NORTH COMPANIES BRINGS THE ORIGINAL FARMERS MARKET TO LAX

 

(Los Angeles, CA – June 12, 2014) – A grand opening celebration was held today for the Farmers Market at Terminal 5 (Delta) at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).  After 80 years at the corner of Third and Fairfax, the Original Farmers Market now has an additional address at LAX.  Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services is proud to bring this iconic landmark to the airport.

The Farmers Market at LAX features a broad selection of meals, snacks, wine, coffee, and sweets from the Original Market restaurants and stalls. Travelers from across the world can now experience the iconic Farmers Market inside Terminal 5. Dining and shopping options include award-winning ¡Loteria! Grill, Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market and Bistro, T&Y Bakery, Coffee Corner, Magee’s Nuts, Bennett’s Ice Cream, Magic Nut and Candy, Dragunara Spice Bazaar and The Dog Bakery.

The Farmers Market at LAX also includes design elements from the Original Market location, with a large Clock Tower relief, a video wall featuring glimpses of the Market’s people and history, and merchandise displays reminiscent of the Market’s iconic green grocery carts.

Currently, Delaware North operates Skewers by Morimoto in Terminal 5,Wolfgang Puck Express in Terminal 7, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Terminal 5, and one of the original Wolfgang Puck Express concepts in Terminal 2.
