SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES EXPANDS SERVICE TO NORTH AMERICA WITH LAUNCH OFDAILY FLIGHTS BETWEEN LOS ANGELES–STOCKHOLM

 

           (L os Angeles, California – August 19, 2015) Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), the largest airline in Scandinavia, will launch service at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with daily flights to Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN) beginning March 14, 2016.

          “We know that our frequent flyers want flexible travel with a good timetable and daily departures,” said Rickard Gustafson, President and CEO of SAS. “New direct routes together with the renewal of our long haul fleet and our broad network mean we have far and away the strongest offer between Scandinavia and the USA.”

            Los Angeles is a popular destination for Scandinavian travelers wishing to visit Southern California or onwards to destinations such as Hawaii and Mexico. The airline will have daily departures from Los Angeles to Stockholm during the summer travel season and five to six weekly departures a week in the winter. Schedule is:

Daily departure from Arlanda (SK933) at 9.50 a.m. arriving in Los Angeles at 12:15 p.m.
Daily departure from Los Angeles (SK934) at 2:15 p.m. arriving at Arlanda 10:00 a.m.
