SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES RELAUNCHES DAILY FLIGHTS BETWEEN LOS ANGELES AND STOCKHOLM
(Los Angeles, California – March 15, 2016) Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), the largest airline in Scandinavia re-launches daily flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN).
“It means a lot to be able to re-introduce our historical route to Los Angeles,” said Rickard Gustafson, President and CEO of SAS. “With the startup of the route Stockholm – Los Angeles with daily departures, we are once again connecting two highly dynamic and innovative regions in the world.”
SAS first launched service to Los Angeles in 1954. The rekindled service features brand new cabins with revamped seating, entertainment systems with High Definition screens, wireless internet, and a calming and welcoming atmosphere. Los Angeles marks SAS’s fifth direct route to the United States.
The airline will have daily departures from Los Angeles to Stockholm during the summer travel season and five to six departures in the winter. Schedule is:
Daily departure from Arlanda (SK939) at 9.50 a.m. arriving in Los Angeles at 12:15 p.m.
Daily departure from Los Angeles (SK940) at 2:15 p.m. arriving at Arlanda 10:00 a.m.
