ADDITIONAL PARKING PROVIDED FOR LAX VETERANS JOB FAIR ON WEDNESDAY
(Los Angeles, California – September 13, 2016) Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is hosting its first Jobs@LAX for Veterans job fair, on Wednesday, September 14, at the LAX Flight Path Learning Center and Museum, located at 6661 West Imperial Highway, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Due to the overwhelming response, and limited parking available at the facility, LAX is providing additional parking on airport property at World Way West with shuttle service.
Signage will be posted along the route to direct attendees to the parking site. To reach the parking area, travel west on Imperial Highway, turn right on Pershing Drive, turn right on World Way West, and then turn right on Maintenance Road. Shuttle service will run every 10 to 15 minutes from the lot to the Flight Path Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shuttles can accommodate individuals with disabilities.
The job fair supports local veterans and assists LAX employers to meet their staffing needs with experienced former military personnel. Attendees can connect with more than 20 LAX employers. Attendance is free.
