(Los Angeles, CA) More than 350 jobs at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be available when Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), in partnership with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Airports, hosts a job fair on Saturday, April 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Flight Path Museum, located at 6661 W. Imperial Highway.

 

"LAX is a dynamic and exciting place to work and is undergoing a major transformation into the airport of the future,” said Justin Erbacci, Chief Executive Officer, LAWA. “Our airport is committed to working with our business partners to recruit and retain great workers from the local community to help provide the gold-standard service that LAX guests from across the globe deserve.”

To help expedite the hiring of potential candidates, the LAX Security Badging Office will be open on April 16 exclusively for applicants receiving job offers that morning, so they can immediately begin the badging process for the airport.

 

Companies participating in the job fair include: HMSHost, Crews, Concord Collective Partners, Delaware North Companies, Paradies Lagardere, Areas, Hudson Group, Marshall Retail Group, Stellar News and InMotion. They will be recruiting for positions including cooks, cashiers, baristas, utility crew, operations managers, senior assistants, managers, supervisors, lounge attendants, customer service representatives, warehouse personnel and more.

 

Applicants should bring valid government-issued photo identification cards and employment authorization documents and must be able to pass a background check.

LAX is part of a system of two Southern California airports – along with Van Nuys general aviation – that are owned and operated by Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), a proprietary department of the City of Los Angeles that receives no funding from the City's general fund.
