(Los Angeles) After more than four million work hours, Los Angeles International Airport's (LAX) Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility has achieved its next major milestone – handing over the Ready Return/Idle Storage building to rental car tenants to build out their customer space – marking a new project phase for what will become the largest rental car facility in the world once open. 

(Los Angeles, CA) Today, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) announced the successful placement of a pedestrian bridge structure over World Way that will eventually connect Terminals 5 and 6 to the Center Central Terminal Area (CTA) Automated People Mover (APM) station. This was the fifth of six bridge structures placed over World Way since June 2021. The last pedestrian bridge, which will connect Tom Bradley International Terminal to the West CTA station, will be placed later this year.

(Los Angeles, CA) Today, the centerpiece of Los Angeles International Airport's (LAX) multi-billion-dollar modernization program achieved a major milestone as the last concrete was poured for the Automated People Mover's (APM) 2.25-mile elevated guideway structure.

(Los Angeles, CA) More than 150 emergency response personnel from 15 organizations took part today in the 2022 LAX Air Exercise (AirEx), a full-scale simulation designed to test Los Angeles International Airport’s (LAX’s) readiness to respond to an aircraft accident on the airfield.
